The three bags can be easily be stored in the corner of a garage, the boot of your car, the back of your RV and on a plane!

One bag holds the Doyle sail and mast, one for the inflatable hulls and the other for all your rigging, boom and pump making it easy to organise and transport.

The Typhoon cat materials

  • Drop Stitch Technology

    The patented drop stitch technology used int he Typhoon is a material that allows inflatable structures to be made with 100% flat surfaces making the hulls extremely rigid and sturdy when inflated to the recommended 10psi.

  • CARBON FIBRE MAST

    The four piece carbon fibre mast which weighs only 3.9kg makes rigging a breeze. Constructed using pre-preg carbon fibre for the ultimate strength to weight ratio.

  • ROBUST AND QUALITY BUILD

    The custom designed hull and frame connections provide high torsional stability limiting twisting. Made out of marine grade aluminium anodised for saltwater protection.

  • ROTOMOULDED RUDDERS

    The kick-up rudder utilises rotomoulded plastic. The sleek, hydrodynamically optimised blade extends into the water give smooth steering control.

    Featuring two lock-in positions: folded up or lowered down into the water completely. The rudder releases automatically when it touches the ground.

  • JIB HALYARD TENSION

    With the 3:1 jib halyard pulley, you can easily adjust the tension of the rig manually whilst on land or water.

  • Sails by Doyle

    Designed by sailors for sailors, the Typhoon main and jib have been built for ease of use, longevity and performance.

    The modern square top shape of the fully battened 15m² mainsail, which is made from a mylar laminate sail providing the skipper with unobstructed all-round visibility.

  • FINELINE MARINE RIGGING

    Since 1996 Fineline Marine has shown produce cordage of the highest standard. The finest quality fibers, sourced from around the world, are crafted using the latest automated European braiders and twisters in a modern purpose built factory based in Auckland, New Zealand.
